Since teaching Indonesian to foreign learners is different from teaching the language to its native speakers, this course is preparing you to be competence both in Indonesian Language proficiency and classroom management skills as well as materials delivery in:

• providing participants with materials on language skills, linguistic aspects and teaching methodology of ILFL;
• introducing cultural aspects in various communication situations;
• designing learning models of ILFL to improve participants’ language skills, namely listening, speaking, reading and writing; and
• demonstrating the learning activities of Indonesian as a foreign language using a variety of approaches, models, methods and techniques.
