SEAQIL initiated the School Literacy Club (KLS) with a focus on advancing literacy in the school environment. In order to strengthen the implementation of cooperation between SEAQIL and stakeholders, the implementation of KLS involves partner schools under the guidance of provincial education offices in Indonesia, universities and literacy communities.
SEAQIL places KLS as one of the efforts to support skills life through increasing student competency in written or spoken literacy skills and 21st century skills (critical thinking, collaboration, creative action and communication). Apart from that, KLS also supports Indonesian government programs. In this case, SEAQIL refers to the Ministry of Education and Culture's policies, namely the National Literacy Movement (2017) and National Assessment (2021).
